An unidentified Amazon driver reportedly called the police to alert them that a customer was suffering severe domestic violence. The victim discreetly asked the driver for help.
On March 28, an Amazon driver received a subtle plea for help from a customer experiencing domestic abuse in Florida. He called the authorities, who later arrested the abuser.
The driver, who chose to remain anonymous, told the emergency operator that the woman said: “If I can ask you a favor, please call the police to come to my house.”
He was unsure of the exact situation but decided to notify the police anyway.
The Amazon driver also shared that the woman tried to speak with him during the delivery without drawing attention. He noticed a man inside the house with her.
Authorities arrived at the address and found the couple on the porch. They observed that the woman had visible marks of aggression on her neck.
Frank Mandolini, 43, was arrested and charged with severe domestic assault. The crime reportedly occurred after the victim accused him of contacting other women and watching adult videos.
The Amazon driver was praised by Sheriff Eric Flowers. “This guy is truly a hero. He probably saved her life. Credit goes to him,” said Flowers.
