“He just came to pick up some fish, two portions of fish. He came by helicopter to get the fish, called me, and I made it. You just have to place an order. If you can’t come by car, come by helicopter,” joked the kiosk owner who sold the dish.
The businessman owns land in the area and stopped by the bar, near one of his properties, to pick up an order his daughter had placed.
“His daughter has the kiosk’s contact and asked them to prepare the fish. He arrived quickly, picked it up,” said the kiosk owner’s daughter, Raynara Oliveira.
The portion comes with lemon, lettuce, and cassava flour.
Despite the unusual moment, landing a private helicopter on the beach is not allowed. Only buggies and pick-up trucks are permitted for tourists along the region’s coastline.
Rescue teams’ helicopters can land in the area under special circumstances.
