Cruise worker Lucy Southerton raised a warning on her YouTube channel about aesthetic procedures passengers should avoid on board a ship.

Lucy Southerton, a cruise worker who has worked with lines like Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, and P&O Cruises, revealed on her YouTube channel which aesthetic procedures passengers should avoid.

Some cruise companies offer spa treatments, including Botox and facial fillers. Lucy spent two years working in spas on ships and explained that many things can go wrong with these procedures.

“I’m not just talking about a poorly done filler or Botox with a bad result. I’m talking about necrosis, something you definitely don’t want to deal with while at sea,” she shared.

Lucy also reminded viewers that after a Botox filler procedure, a follow-up is needed, and if the passenger is no longer on the cruise, it can be difficult to contact the person who performed the procedure.

Other procedures Lucy recommends doing on land include haircuts and waxing. She mentioned having seen “disastrous” results from haircuts.
