The footage shows at least six suspects being captured by security cameras leaving the train operator’s compartment at one point during the ride.
The group of masked vandals tried to cover the cameras with a marker pen, according to authorities. The criminals posted the act of vandalism on an Instagram profile.
They are believed to have reached a speed of 48 km/h while riding on active tracks, according to sources.
The New York Police are seeking information on the suspects who remain at large.
