A study conducted by QS Supplies, a bathroom supply store, revealed that many Generation Z individuals, born between 1995 and 2010, struggle with bathroom-related issues while traveling.

Results from a QS Supplies survey show that Generation Z is the most bothered by how people handle their bathroom needs, especially during travel.

About 29% of the 1,000 travelers from the UK and the US surveyed said they should be compensated for traveling next to people who pass gas on trains, planes, or other forms of public transportation.

Another 23%, primarily from Generation Z, stated that passengers with the worst-smelling flatulence should be removed from flights.

The fact is that, when on a plane, the body tends to produce and expel more gas due to the increased cabin pressure, according to the New Zealand Medical Journal.

Generation Z also makes up the majority of the 35% of travelers who admitted that they prefer to hold it in rather than use an unfamiliar bathroom.

Around 40% of respondents revealed that they have urinated in a bottle due to not finding a restroom.
