The driver lost control of the car as it approached the hospital parking lot and crashed through the wall. The patient was facing the wall at the time of the collision and became trapped in the debris.

The hospital’s technical director, Alexandre da Silva Pinto, stated that the elderly man underwent tests to ensure he had not sustained more serious injuries.
“Patients who were directly or indirectly affected by the vehicle were promptly assisted and will later be evaluated from a psychological perspective,” Alexandre communicated.
Authorities are investigating what caused the car to go out of control. The hemodialysis room was partially destroyed. Five beds were isolated, and the rest of the structure continued to function normally.
