Brazilian lawyer Michaella Zukowski said in a video that she lost vision in her left eye in the accident where a homeless person threw a paving stone at her car.
Michaella Zukowski, 26, said she suffered a skull fracture and lost vision in her left eye after being hit by a paving stone thrown at her car by a homeless person. The accident occurred in 2023.
The Brazilian lawyer sought treatment in the US for four months. She was diagnosed with having lost vision on her left side. Michaella shared her story in a video last Sunday (15) and said that she sees images as “distorted” and “blurry”.
Michaella reported that the injury worsened due to swelling, which led to the formation of a membrane that currently prevents further treatment.
Michaella Zukowski was in the car with her family when she was attacked by Gelson Aparecido dos Santos. He claimed to be under the influence of drugs during the incident. Gelson has been in custody since the day of the incident.
