A tragedy struck the city of Philadelphia, United States, last Friday (31), when a medical transport plane crashed, killing all six people on board, including a child who was being transported home after medical treatment.

The accident involved a twin-engine Learjet 55 that took off from Philadelphia Northeast Airport and crashed shortly after, near a shopping center. The crash resulted in an explosion and fire, with debris scattered over a 100-meter area.

The aircraft’s initial destination was Missouri, with plans to continue to Tijuana, Mexico.

Authorities are currently investigating the causes of the crash, while witnesses reported seeing the plane experiencing difficulties before going down.
