An Indian rhinoceros attacked a group of tourists visiting an endangered species sanctuary in India. An intense video captured the scary moment the tourists went through.
A video shared on social media shows a group of tourists in a jeep fleeing from an Indian rhinoceros at the Manas National Park in India on Sunday (23).
The place is recognized by UNESCO as a wildlife sanctuary, home to endangered species.
The Indian rhinoceros was at risk of extinction due to poaching and loss of its natural habitat, with fewer than 100 individuals at the start of the 20th century. Today, there are over 4,000 specimens living in the wild.

The video shows the animal running at high speed to catch up with the tourists’ jeeps. At one point in the video, the rhinoceros tries to flip the car.
According to the Daily Mail, park officials are investigating whether the animal’s behavior was due to natural causes or human interference. They advise tourists to keep their distance from animals.
