A man accused of stealing a 13-year-old girl’s bicycle during an aggressive encounter is being sought by the New York police.

New York police are looking for a man accused of stealing a 13-year-old girl’s bicycle and threatening her violently on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York.

According to the NYPD, the unidentified man, described as a teenager, approached the girl around 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and West 86th Street and threatened her to hand over the bicycle.

Subsequently, he took the bicycle and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect, who was wearing a greenish-gray hoodie under a black jacket, jeans, white and gray sneakers, a black mask, and carrying a black backpack.


Fortunately, the girl was not injured during the encounter, but the police continue to search for the suspect who is on the run.
