A severe snowstorm caused a truckload of eggs to spill on a highway in the state of Oklahoma, USA.
The spilling of a truckload of eggs caused a series of accidents during a severe snowstorm on a highway near the border between Oklahoma and Missouri, USA. The incident occurred on Tuesday (18).
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a truck loaded with eggs was involved in a multi-vehicle crash. Authorities stated that the victims sustained minor injuries.
The high value of the cargo caught the attention of internet users. A dozen eggs currently costs $4.95, more than double the price recorded last year.

The winter storm was caused by atmospheric changes that brought snow and ice to central regions of the USA on Tuesday (18).
The situation was worsened by strong winds and Arctic air, creating near-whiteout conditions in some areas.
“Stay off the roads if you can, we are seeing crashes in OKC due to slick pavement,” warned the Oklahoma City Police on social media. “If you must go out, drive slowly and maintain distance from other vehicles,” they continued.
The wind chill is expected to remain well below freezing throughout the week, making outdoor conditions dangerously cold.
