On a Sunday morning in the city of São José do Rio Preto, in the state of São Paulo. A coffin with a body was thrown out of a funeral car after the vehicle was involved in a violent accident.

According to local police, a 42-year-old cashier driving a Monza went straight at the intersection of Campos Sales and Rubião Júnior streets, in the Boa Vista neighborhood, without respecting the red “Stop” sign.
A security camera recorded the moment when the funeral car was proceeding on the road, and at the intersection of Campos Salles and Rubião Junior streets it was hit by another car that did not respect the stop sign.
With the force of the impact, the car carrying the coffin ended up flipping over and stopped at a tree. The back door opened and the body fell onto the street. It was collected and taken back to the funeral home, which declined to comment on the incident.
