A small plane with 17 people on board, which was preparing for a parachute jump, had to make an emergency landing on Bacocho Beach in Puerto Escondido (Mexico).
Videos on social media show the moment of the victims’ rescue shortly after the crash.

The regrettable number of victims includes several injured and one fatality, identified in preliminary reports as a swimmer who was in the Tortuguero ViveMar area.
The aircraft, with registration N80GE, had taken off minutes earlier from Puerto Escondido airport.
Unfortunately, in the maneuver, it failed to avoid hitting the 62-year-old swimmer Armando Domínguez Castillo.
