Brazilian singer MC Pipokinha caused a stir on social media after being filmed on Wednesday night (10/1) riding a motorcycle without a helmet and in a risky position, on Leopoldo Bulhões Avenue, in Manguinhos, Rio de Janeiro.

The video circulating on the internet shows the singer performing the dance known as “quadradinho” to the sound of funk music, while a young man drives the motorcycle. The footage quickly drew attention, with many internet users expressing concern and disapproval of MC Pipokinha’s actions.
Social media comments varied in response. One user expressed their dissatisfaction, stating: “Everything I see about this MC Pipokinha is against my will.” Another issue raised was traffic safety, with a user questioning the performance of the traffic authority DETRAN: “Where is DETRAN?? Only fining workers??”, another internet user questioned, referring to the apparent lack of enforcement in such situations.
