Several residents of Florida witnessed a large tornado confirmed to have touched down in the heart of Fort Lauderdale this Saturday, January 6th.

Videos published on social media show the destruction caused by the tornado from various angles.
Officials from the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning around 6 PM.
Multiple videos from different angles show debris and power flashes as the tornado moves through the area, with several reports of possible damage.
The extent of the damage is currently unknown at this time.
