The man was thrown over the hood of the car and fell onto the concrete, suffering visible but non-fatal injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to authorities, the victim stated that the coach intentionally ran him over after the argument escalated.
“Baez-Rivera reported that several people started chasing his vehicle and that he left the scene due to concern for his own safety, as well as for the safety of the passengers, including minor children,” the police said in a statement.
Bryan Baez-Rivera was arrested without resistance and released on a $5,000 bond, according to the Connecticut State Police.
