A driver recording motorcyclists on Florida’s Interstate 4 was shot at by a motorcyclist on Sunday morning (6), according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is seeking information about a motorcyclist who fired shots at a driver on Interstate 4 on Sunday morning (6). The victim had been recording the motorcyclists riding recklessly.

“A 34-year-old man from Saint Petersburg, driving a westbound Honda CR-V on Interstate 4, noticed several motorcyclists riding erratically alongside another unidentified vehicle,” the FHP reported.

Authorities stated that the driver began recording with his cellphone when one of the motorcyclists pulled out a firearm and fired at his vehicle.

“Multiple shots struck the Honda, but the victim was not injured,” said the Florida Highway Patrol. The shots hit the car’s rear door.

The suspect is described as a medium-built white man wearing a leather jacket bearing the insignia of the Outlaws MC, an international outlaw motorcycle club founded in McCook, Illinois, in 1935.

The Florida Highway Patrol has called on the public to assist in identifying the offender.
