A paint factory in Embu das Artes, in the Greater São Paulo area, was the scene of a catastrophic explosion, triggering a massive emergency response.

The Fire Department reported that 19 vehicles were dispatched to deal with the incident. Agents on the scene identified that stored products, including a type of flammable resin, were being consumed by the flames.
Videos captured by local residents show the critical moment, one among the three explosions reported by neighbors of the warehouse. In one of the recordings, it’s possible to see residents in the area documenting the situation, while another group observes from an even closer distance.


The images are shocking, revealing an intense explosion resulting in a large amount of smoke and ending with an impressive electrical discharge. The state Civil Defense, after being notified by the municipal Civil Defense about the explosion at the paint factory, reported that they are closely monitoring the situation.

This incident draws attention to the dangers related to the storage of flammable substances and the importance of strict safety measures in industrial facilities. There is still no information released regarding possible victims or the total extent of the damage caused by the explosion.
